Damasteel is Swedish stainless Damascus — the rippling pattern runs all the way through the steel rather than being printed on the surface, so it performs every bit as well as it shows. On this Eclipse, O'Hare carries that same Damasteel across both the blade and the bolsters so the pattern flows unbroken into the hand, then sets it against copper-shot snakeskin carbon fiber that shifts with the light and finishes it with a heat-colored Timascus clip. A hand-built Canadian dress flipper meant to be turned over and studied.
