Böhler M390 is a benchmark “super steel” — high chromium and vanadium give it both real corrosion resistance and long edge retention. This is the original prototype that became the OBJ 113 line: its M390 blade is hand-rubbed with a swedge, set in a laser-etched titanium framelock with a black Timascus backspacer. A piece of the model's history, handmade in the USA (note: a small scratch on the blade about ½” from the tip).
