CPM S90V is about as much edge as stainless steel gets — its dense vanadium carbides hold a working edge far longer than common blade steels, the trade-off being that it rewards a patient hand at the stones. Rogovets, a jeweler by trade, brings that eye to a folder: the S90V flats are hand-rubbed to a soft satin, and warm copper is threaded through the build — the blade eyelet, the backspacer, the pivot collar — against a dark gray titanium frame milled with bullet holes. Handmade in the USA, serial 1641.
