The Sickle is no different. Nature’s perfect design, tunas use sickle-shaped fins for precision and a speed while hunting prey.
So naturally (pun intended) Team Fiasqo had a sickle-shape in mind when designing a knife.
A knife that would:
-make quick work of large fish
- have enough flex to maximize yield
- have a shape that would allow proper ergonomics, while minimizing the number of cuts needed, resulting in a beautifully processed fish
-be made of a material that would tolerate severe duty/commercial applications for reliable, stain-free performance.
Like most great things the idea was simple and started with a napkin sketch and a spirited conversation with Empire Outfitters who tapped Ban Tang Knives to make this vision a reality. - Team Fiasqo
