Designed and created by Chris Wilmont of Wilmont knives (Wilmont Grinders) as a Tomahawk, Skinner and game processor. The Uluhawk is a larger version of his pocket skinner. The 3/16" thick skinner is inset into a pocket in the handle and retained by two 1/4"-20 screws that are screwed into helicoils (Steel inserts in alumium). Two spare screws are kept in the handle and a washer is retained in the bottom of the handle using a ring magnet and to be used as a screwdriver. A staff adaptor is also available to convert the handle to a walking staff using a piece a sapling found in the woods. The pocketskinner would be placed in your pack pocket for the walk in to camp until a hawk is needed.
