This is serial number 00 — the prototype Panther from Mad Dog Knives, and it doesn't get more collectible than that. Ten inches of vacuum-remelt Presco O-1, selectively tempered and flat ground with a blasted finish, sharpened swedge, and hand-filed jimping. The hidden tang rides in Mad Dog's proprietary FR4 composite handle with guard and lanyard hole. At 16.8 ounces and Berry Amendment compliant, it comes with both a belt sheath and jump sheath in Kydex 100.

Blade - 10” (8 ¾” sharpened) blasted flat ground with sharpened swedge, choice and hand filed jimping. Steel is pristine, vacuum remelt, selectively tempered Presco O-1.

Handle - 4 ⅞” green and black handle which is machined and hand ground from Mad Dogs proprietary FR4 composite. Handle has a guard and lanyard hole.
