At 11⅜ inches open, the T-Rex Covert is an oversized framelock built for presence as much as use. The blade is 6K, more properly known as Stellite 6K, a cobalt-chromium alloy rather than a true steel. It resists corrosion completely and holds an edge exceptionally well, but it's notoriously difficult to grind and finish, which is exactly why so few makers outside the custom world bother with it. This piece comes from a private collection in like-new condition, with only a small snail trail on the pocket clip.
